How Does SET TV Work?

SET TV is the Best Value IPTV Service Provider Available.

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television. That means that instead of getting your channels via satellite dish, antenna, or fiber-optic cable, you get them streamed simultaneously through your internet connection. This requires an advanced storage system and an easy to navigate web-interface in order to be able to store, organize, select, and stream the programs that people want to watch. SET TV has done all of the heavy-lifting for you. SET TV provides you with over 500 channels as well as on-demand shows, live sports, and more.

They have a beautifully simple interface that allows you to quickly navigate to the channels you want to watch. Very user-friendly!

STOP OVERPAYING FOR TV!!

With SET TV, you get all of these channels and then some!

Best part? It’s only $20/Month, or $200 if you pay for a year in advance.

That’s a total estimated potential savings of $1241.96 annually when you switch to SET TV!!

This estimate is high because it’s assuming you want it all.

Obviously, most of us won’t spring for all of these tv options for the extra costs each year.

BUT, if you could have it all for one low price…why not right?

So, what’s the catch? Is it legal?

Now I know what you’re thinking…no way its real, and if so it cant be legal.

Logical thought. I had the exact same skepticism.

I am happy to inform you that it is indeed real, and yes it’s completely legal too.

Welcome to the internet of television, my friends!

Seeing is Believing.

Look guys, I can praise SET TV all day long, but the only way to believe it is too see it for yourselves.

This is why I strongly encourage each of you to try the free 3-day trial. Test it out. See it for yourself, and then go from there.

You don’t even have to give them any banking or credit/debit card information to try it.

If you forget to cancel your free trial you have no worries! You literally have nothing to lose by trying it out. They make it so simple and worry-free.

I’ll admit that I would never have tried it myself if I didn’t have the option of a risk-free trial.

SET TV might not be for you IF…

I firmly believe that this is the best value in tv today.

That being said, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t tell you the reasons why SET TV might not be right for you.

You have no internet connection or a poor internet connection.

Since its complete internet based it’s obvious that you’ll need internet, but you also want internet that’s fast enough to stream video. I don’t want to say the exact amount of minimum MB/s you’ll need to not get irritated because I don’t know the best answer. I will say that if you have Netflix or any other streaming service that works with your connection, you should be good to go.

You love your local channels.

SET TV does offer local channels depending on your area, but this may be an area where you will run into issues. If not being able to watch your local news is a deal breaker for you, then I recommend that you either don’t get SET TV or that you get something to supplement it like an antenna that will pick up those channels for you.

Personally, I recommend that you get a cheap antenna for your locals and get the best of both worlds. If you don’t want to go through the trouble because you already have your locals channels, or if you don’t want to buy an antenna or switch the input on your tv to watch locals, then it might not be your best bet

Error messages and updates.

This one is big. Hands down the biggest issue with SET TV is that sometimes you have to install some updates to ensure a pleasant viewing experience. The odds are you will encounter an error message and run into some minor issues if you switch. Please don’t let this deter you from at least giving it a try. They are great about sending emails with simple instructions on what to do in any situation. The customer service is fantastic and quick to respond as well.

It works great with little effort more often than not, but just be aware of the possibility of error messages and updates. I look at the extra effort as another small fee for using their service.

Annoying for sure, but it’s not a deal breaker.

The value of tv that you get for $20 is unmatched. The slight occasional annoyance is a microscopic price to pay.

NOTE: If you are not tech savvy and don’t want to deal with this issue, you can purchase the SET TV Top Box for $99.99. It might be a steep one-time fee, but it does all of the work for you. It automatically detects and downloads updates for you to ensure a smooth tv experience. It’s not something I would recommend until you are committed to using their services, but once you are…it’s very worth the price. It even comes with an HDMI cable and its own remote!

You have to install it yourself on a compatible device.

Don’t let that intimidate you. You don’t need an IT background or a computer science degree to do this. If my parents can figure it out, so can you. Trust me on that one.

The overall installation process isn’t challenging, but it’s not as simple as just getting an app from the app store and signing in. You are given step by step instructions on how to install when you sign up via email. There is also plenty of video support and help available as well. It’s more of an inconvenience issue than anything, and it’s a minor one.

For your convenience, I provided a video below showing you the entire installation process. There is a complete list of compatible devices as well.
