Joe has podcasting down to an art-form.
Podcasts, for those who may be unfamiliar with them, are essentially just an audio file that is recorded by someone and can be downloaded by someone else. Anyone can make a podcast and they can be about anything.
Joe Rogan is a public figure that you may know from his standup comedy which you can watch on Netflix, his career as an announcer for the UFC, and if the name still doesn’t ring a bell you may remember him as the host of Fear Factor. You know that show where contestants had to skydive into pools of spiders and eat cow testicles?
Why do we love the Joe Rogan Experience?
With over 1100 podcasts episodes and counting, Joe is a master of conversation. He is very articulate in his thoughts and makes it easy for his listeners to follow along. The ability to go deep into conversation with an open mind is something that forms the foundation of why his podcast is as successful as it is. His open-mindedness and curiosity to explore new interests and seek different perspectives are infectious to viewers such as myself.
The diverse guests on his show are no doubt a huge part of the success of his podcasts. He’s had guests ranging from comedians, MMA fighters, politicians, psychologists, scientists, doctors, actors, and everything in between. This wide range of guests makes it interesting as you get to hear a vast amount of perspectives from people who are experts in their fields. Joe is great at sparking interesting conversation for his viewers and isn’t afraid to admit he doesn’t know something or that he was wrong.
Probably easier when you talk to people like Dr. Rhonda Patrick, who most of us would need an Adderall and a notepad to have a chance at grasping any of the information.
His insane work ethic and relentless self-improvement will also make you want to be a better person, or just feel like a bum if you’re a glass half full kind of guy.
